As stated on their website “thank you for your continued and loyal support over the years - this one’s on me,” Nine Inch Nails made a generous and exceptional gesture to their fans by providing the full-length album the slip via free download at nin.com. Trent Reznor leads the industrial rock band as their main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Founded in 1988, NIN has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. They first earned a reputation in 1989 with their debut album, Pretty Hate Machine, which stayed on the Billboard charts for more than two years with the hit “Head Like a Hole.” Reznor released the EP Broken in 1992, which earned him his first Grammy for Best Metal Performance for the song "Wish.
